My College Journal and Me

I started writing articles for my college magazine on the request of my faculty when I was in my first year of degree. My faculty asked me to write articles for the college journal based on my command on the English Language. My first write up for the college magazine was about the Premier Hockey League which started in 2005. I was very fascinated with the game of hockey and therefore I covered both the editions of Premier Hockey League. This article was published in March 2006.

My second article was about accessing Broadband through domestic power lines. This was published in my annual college magazine under the title Watt a Byte. This article was an adaptation of the article which appeared in the Times of India dated 02.02.2006.I wrote this for my college magazine because I wanted people of my college know that there are other domestic companies coming up with new technologies aimed at further developing Bangalore, the IT hub of India into a much more technology aware city.

I am now working on the third article titled The inspirational force behind Sherlock Holmes which is yet to be published, I am also working on my fourth article titled The inspirational force behind Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I like writing articles and will continue to write them till I am able to do so.

I am able to do all this because there has always been a driving force behind me asking me to do all the work I do - my parents and my faculty.

Pen Aligner and me

I started writing at a very young age, but not on a large scale. When I was in my first year of graduation, my faculty asked me to write articles for the college journal based on my command on the English Language. My first write up for the college magazine was about the Premier Hockey League which started in 2005. Later when Pen Aligner was stopped, I felt like having lost a good friend, I then started writing my own collections.
I started to think about what could be done next, then one day I was called up to write for my College's Annual Magazine. This is when I found a new person in me, a writer who was very much in me but hidden from view of the public.

My write ups and I who were like strangers till 2005, developed a liking towards one another and are now inseparable.

I am still writing many things and will continue.

Express yourself and you will find new friends

My First Biking Experience

I was in my first year of graduation when I first rode a bike. This was my first on hand experience with a bike. Till then I had just seen some one riding it.When I first started to ride a bike I thought that it might be a difficult task. But the bike actually seemed to like me the way a mother loves her child. The bike and I started to live like friends who never desert each other.

He liked me very much and was very helpful in guiding me through the rough terrains of Bangalore. He used to make me feel very comfortable and energizes me so that I can have full control of him. He ensures that I do not fall. But, one day he was caught napping and he felt sorry for the mistake he committed.

That was the only day that even my parents got angry for riding him. This has not stopped me from riding my bike but has just encouraged me to be a better rider. The instructor even appreciated me saying that the bike was very kind and helpful to me. He added that he had never seen a bike that was so kind to its rider in the sense that it had real human qualities and it never let the rider down in any aspect.

Be it riding the bike or doing a stunt on the bike. I love my bike and he loves me from the bottom of his heart.

I would like to conclude by saying:
"Be kind to people and things around you and they will repay your kindness in one form or another."

Dreams are a way of life

I hear people say "Do not sit idle", when they see young minds like you and me sitting without doing any "worthwhile" work. These type of people are those who do not know what dream is all about. For them "worthwhile" work refers to that work which involves physical  powers .
When we sit idle, it is just that our physical body is resting but our mind keeps working.
We young minds dream about many things that goes beyond the purview of an old mind.
Our brain is a super computer but needs rest during processes that it carries out. This is the time that the brain goes into a sub-conscious state and hibernates itself for a short span of time. It is during this period of hibernation that we dream.
Dreams can be attributed to various things. It can be "viruses" that affect the "Super Computer", they can be "screen savers" that stay for a short duration, they can be "backgrounds" that form a part of the "desktop" of the "Super Computer" or they can be "applications" that stay on to help us achieve our goals.

Dreams are something that should form a part of each and everyone's life. Let dreams help in achieving our goals.

Dreams make the place we live in a better place.
My dream is  to be a part of that world which has no nagging people.

Let dream be a way of life than it becoming the life all by itself.
